  • 2 (8-ounce) packages cranberries, fresh or frozen
  • 1 orange, zest cut into strips
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 2 cups Californian red grapes, split down the middle

CRANBERRY RELISH WITH FRESH CALIFORNIAN GRAPES

Put the cranberries, sugar, cinnamon and zest into a saucepan over medium heat and simmer until the cranberries burst and the sauce thickens, about 15 to 20 minutes. Cool and refrigerate. Remove the cinnamon stick and add split grapes just prior to serving.
